EPA Sued By NYS Over Lack of FOIA Response ALBANY, NY (WAMC) - New York State has filed a lawsuit against the federal Environmental Protection Agency. The state attorney general says the action is being taken because the federal agency has refused to provide information repeatedly, and legally requested by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation.
