Senator Clinton has criticized the Bush administration's handling of the war in Iraq.
But she voted in 2002 to support military action and has said she does not believe American troops should pull out immediately, a position famously advocated by Democratic Congressman Jack Murtha.
That's why anti-war activist Linda Wiener says her group, CODEPINK, and others plan to picket outside Clinton's fundraiser in downtown Portland.
"She's very visibly NOT listening to what her constituents in New York and Democrats across the country are saying, which is this war needs to end."
State Democratic Party director Neel Pender said what the protestors and party activists agree on is the execution of the war has been, as he put it "utterly incompetent".
