The 2010 Census will define who we are as a nation, affect political representation and direct the allocation of billions of dollars in government funding. The group calling itself "The Hispanic Complete Count Committe of the Capital Region" promises to keep an eye on the census. They say that with poverty levels and unemployment rising throughout the region, efforts to count every resident are of critical importance. The committee has unveiled a bilingual website it will use as a communication tool to ensure the 2010 census count will bring the most federal aid possible to the Capital region.
