Microsoft and Yahoo have apparently reached a deal to team up and gain market share against search-giant Google. Neither company is commenting yet, but multiple news sources, including the Wall Street Journal and Advertising Age are expecting an announcement sometime tomorrow (Wednesday.) Ad Age says Microsoft's Bing would become the default search engine on Yahoo, creating a search player with close to 30% of the market. Google currently has 65% and without Yahoo, Bing has less than 9%. The deal has been rumored for months.
