ALBANY, NY(WAMC) -
The National Science Foundation has found that enrollment in U.S. colleges and universities rose from 12.7 million students in 1986, to 16.9 million in 2004. The foundation projects a similar level of growth over the coming years. As the demand for higher education has grown in America, institutions have looked to technology to make learning more accessible to prospective students.
