ALBANY, NY (WAMC) - 51% began in 1989. Original host Beth Engeler was followed by Mary Darcy in 1998 and Julia Taylor in 2007. I slid into the well worn producer's seat just this summer. And each of us has made the show our own, whether it's a theme song, a new format, or a new feature. I thought the best way to celebrate the big 1000 was to have a 51% reunion. Mary and Julia were able to join me for a chat about what they did with the show...and what effect it had on them.
