NEWBURGH, NY(WAMC) -
City of Newburgh officials and residents are trying to actively change a toxic dynamic on the streets. Two young men died on those streets in the past month and relations between police and the city's minority population continues to be strained. Hudson Valley bureau chief Susan Barnett reports on several ideas that are underway to improve safety, communication and the outlook for the city's youth.
