heroin ring that moved more than $1 million in drugs a year.
Officials said Thursday that 20 suspects have been arrested and 27 indictments handed down.
The ring ran from Marysville, north of
Columbus, to Nelsonville.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Don Pashayan says the charges are the largest heroin indictment handed down in the state's Southern District.
Drug Enforcement Agency Special Agent Tony Marotta says the drugs were imported from Mexico, transported from southwestern
states and ended in Ohio.
