Fox Lane High School will host the 16th annual Science Research Symposium on April 24th, at 6:30pm. Science Research is a three year elective given as an option in sophomore year. The students are given the option to choose a topic of their interest contact academic researchers at high level research facilities across the globe. Topics range from curing Alzheimer’s to cancer research to describing subatomic particles to preventing pandemics and designing stronger buildings.
Students currently in their program will demonstrate their projects and answer questions. Additionally, Dr. John Parsons of Columbia University will give a presentation on particle physics.
We cordially invite you to come and visit our aspiring, dedicated students who have participated in competitions such as the Intel Science Talent Search, Junior Sciences and Humanities Symposium, Westchester Engineering and Science Fair, International Sustainable World, New York State Science and Engineering Fair, the Google Science fair, and many others.
