Biotech Descends on Atlanta
ATLANTA, GA
(WABE) -
Monday, the much-anticipated BIO International Convention opens in Atlanta. Up to 19,000 people are expected to attend the four-day gathering which will have a $30-million-dollar impact on Atlanta's economy; but perhaps more importantly, it will also shine a light on Georgia and the Southeast as a region ideal for investment by biotech companies.
When WABE's Steve Goss spoke with James Greenwood, president and CEO of the Biotechnology Industry Organization, he explained how the convention will focus on 3 primary areas.
