Dialogue in the Dark Challenges Workers, Visitors
ATLANTA, GA
(WABE) -
A current exhibit at Atlantic Station Dialog in the Dark employs more than 60 blind and visually impaired people. They lead visitors in small groups through different settings in total darkness.
Each guide has a story to tell about becoming blind, about their former jobs, and about this job what it feels like to be blind and to lead newly blind visitors.
Marianne Gardner has this story.
