Head of Newly-established Citizens Review Board Talks About Board Priorities
ATLANTA, GA

Following the public outcry over the illegal shooting death of 92-year old Kathryn Johnston by Atlanta police during a botched drug raid in November, 2006, the City created a 'Citizen Review Board' to investigate complaints against law enforcement officers. Former Eugene, Oregon, Police Auditor Cristina Beamud began her job as the Board's first executive director last week. When she spoke with WABE's Steve Goss, she talked about her priorities.
