Recently, Marian Wright Edelman spoke at the Loudermilk Center in Atlanta, Georgia. Edelman established the Children's Defense Fund (CDF) in 1973 as a voice against poverty, discrimination, and violence. The Atlanta event was organized with the help of the Interfaith Children's Movement of Metro Atlanta.
