(WABE) - Today is November 6th, and if we were to turn Atlanta's clock back 81 years, to this date in 1928, we'd find Atlanta's African-American community unfolding the pages of a new newspaper--the Atlanta Daily World. Twenty-six year-old William Alexander Scott II was founder and editor, but as Georgia State University historian Cliff Kuhn explains, when the Atlanta Daily World was first published it wasn't actually a daily paper. © Copyright 2009, WABE
