A Conversation with Sadie Fields, Outgoing Leader of the Georgia Christian Alliance (Part 1) ATLANTA, GA (WABE) - After 13 years as one of the most influential and controversial women in Georgia politics, Sadie Fields is stepping down as head of the Georgia Christian Alliance. She founded the group after leaving her earlier post as head of the Georgia Christian Coalition.

Sadie Fields first became known for her widely-distributed scorecards, which rated state lawmakers on issues of concern to conservative Christians. Those scorecards, her grassroots organizing, and her hard-nosed lobbying at the State Capitol helped shape the agenda of the state Republican party, at the moment it won control of the Gold Dome.

In part 1 of a conversation with WABE's Denis O'Hayer Sadie Fields said she's proud that she was able to get more conservative Christians involved in state politics.
