Health Care Reform Costs in Georgia: Another Analyst's Perspective
We continue our series of conversations about health care reform, from different points of view. Monday, December 28th, Timothy Sweeney, with the think tank Georgia Budget and Policy Institute argued, even if those cost figures are right, the Senate plan is still a good deal for Georgia.
Tuesday, December 29th, Kelly McCutchen, president of another think tank, the Georgia Public Policy Foundation, claimed there are better ways than the expansion of Medicaid coverage proposed by the Senate.

Last week, the state Department of Community Health estimated that starting in 2013 it would cost the state an extra 100 to 200 million dollars a year to fund the health reform plan just passed by the U.S. Senate and that those extra costs would hit 500 million dollars a year by 2020.null
