ARC grant for Doraville redevelopment
Redeveloping the site is not solely on Doraville's shoulders. GM is actually selling the 165 acre property to Florida-based developer New Broad Street Companies. New Broad Street has not released development plans. Doraville officials hope to work with the company.
The site has infinite possibilities according to ARC comprehensive planning director Tom Wyatt.
"It has good access to a good highway system. Plus, it has obviously good access potential access to the existing MARTA station in Doraville," Wyatt said. "So, it's really got all the components for creating something fairly unique there."
