(WABE) - The governors of Georgia, Florida and Alabama have agreed to meet Dec. 15th in Montgomery, AL to resume talks in the tri-state water war. It will be their first meeting since July, when a Federal judge ruled in favor of Florida and Alabama saying the Army Corps of Engineers can't let metro Atlanta draw its water from Lake Lanier. He gave the states 3 years to make a deal. Georgia Gov. Sonny Perdue's communications director Bert Brantley told WABE's Denis O'Hayer the governors are ready. © Copyright 2012, WABE
