Governors of Georgia, Alabama and Florida Agree to Water Wars Summit ATLANTA, GA (WABE) - The governors of Georgia, Florida and Alabama have agreed to meet Dec. 15th in Montgomery, AL to resume talks in the tri-state water war. It will be their first meeting since July, when a Federal judge ruled in favor of Florida and Alabama saying the Army Corps of Engineers can't let metro Atlanta draw its water from Lake Lanier.
