Like many of those that spoke Carey Davis with HBO Boxing says Vernon Forrest wanted to be known for more than just a three time boxing champ:
((first thing he said to me was Carey I've got an opportunity to tell the world about Destiny's Child)
Destiny's Child is the foundation that Forrest co-founded the organization gives assistance to mentally challenged young adults.
Police are still looking for the men responsible for Forrest's murder.
