Georgia Medical Association President Talks National Healthcare Part 1

Congress is now holding initial hearings in the fight over health care reform. President Obama has said part of a new system should be a government-funded plan that would compete with private insurance. That idea is opposed by the president of the Medical Association of Georgia. Dr. Williamson will testify to a House subcommittee. He told WABE's Denis O'Hayer there's other ways to help cover the tens of millions of uninsured Americans, while giving those who already have coverage more choices.
