ATLANTA, GA (WABE) -
Today former president Jimmy Carter praised pioneering African American women.
It was to celebrate the opening of a new exhibition called (Freedom Sisters) at the Carter Center.
WABE's Rose Scott reports on the exhibit and three of today's honorees-- Kathleen Cleaver, Charlayne Hunter-Gault and Sonia Sanchez:
