Atlanta Entrepreneurs Hint at Cautious Growth ATLANTA, GA (WABE) - A newly-released survey of Atlanta entrepreneurs shows growth--albeit it cautious growth--for the remainder of 2010. WABE's Jim Burress reports.

About 60 companies took part in the survey, funded by the Atlanta chapter of the Entrepreneurs' Organization.

One highlight: jobs. About 80% of respondents say they plan to hire.

But the survey also finds companies are reluctant to step too far out. As a result, salaries and benefits are lagging slightly this year.

Respondents also suggest a slow recovery in Atlanta's commercial real estate market says Dave McMullen, head of local ad agency Redpepper and acting president of EO Atlanta:

"If you've got an entrepreneur in your building, treat them well, because you're going to want to hang on to them," said McMullen. "There's not a lot of movement predicted in 2010."

Overall, respondents' outlooks were a bit rosier this year compared to last year's survey. Most company heads say revenue goals are on-target, and that their cash positions have improved.
