Mixed Martial Arts Coming To Woodruff Arts Center ATLANTA, GA (WABE) - Next month an unusual event takes place inside Woodruff Arts Center.
WABE's Rose Scott reports on Brawl At Symphony Hall:

It won't be the typical sounds of strings, woodwinds and brass.
The ASO will step aside for Mixed Martial Arts also called MMA fighting.
Officials with Sin City Fight Club and Sport Fight X are bringing the event January 16th.
William McCallister, is the fight promoter: ((our goal with sport fight x is education, not exploitation...Martial arts is an art of its own and that's why we chose Woodruff Arts Center because it really is a sport and a use of arts)) McCallister also says the symphony hall is an ideal venue: ((it's going to be on the stage and there really is no bad seat in the house because of the angle and you're looking down on the cage it's perfect))
MMA fighting is not for the squeamish usually there's blood and the occasional broken bones.
