Remembering Rich's ATLANTA, GA (WABE) - From the Reconstruction Era through the 1970s, Atlanta-based Rich's enjoyed the reputation as the premier department store in the southeast.

Federated Department Stores bought the downtown shop in the 1970s -- and a few years ago, the store became Rich's-Macy's.

The store will lose the Rich's name altogether at the end of the month.

WABE's Kate Sweeney sits down with four life-long Atlanta residents - who remember the store that married a city as it was, in its height.
