This Day in 1928, The Atlanta Daily World Debuts ATLANTA, GA (WABE) - Today is November 6th, and if we were to turn Atlanta's clock back 81 years, to this date in 1928, we'd find Atlanta's African-American community unfolding the pages of a new newspaper--the Atlanta Daily World.
