Atlanta Emergency Rooms See Increase:Threat of H1N1

Fortenberry is chief at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.
He says concerns about the H1N1 virus are the main reasons parents are heading to emergency rooms.
But because the current virus is mild Fortenberry cautions parents to schedule a doctor's appointment before opting for the ER:
((the emergency departments are often crowded there's the potential to be exposed to other viruses or illnesses that you be better off being at home))
Dr. Fortenberry does recommend immediate care for kids with high fevers and infants under 6 months.
