Falcons Release Michael Vick ATLANTA, GA (WABE) - Less than three years ago Michael Vick literally had it all, the top selling football jersey in the league, video games and this 2006 commercial promoting his 4th sneaker:

((as my career is going on I've learned a lot I've seen a lot I've become a seasoned veteran..I feel like the next four or five years are the most important and gonna be the best year))

But that's all gone and so is number 7 from the roster of the Atlanta Falcons.
Atlanta Journal Constitution sports columnist Mark Bradley says Vick's legacy albeit tarnished is still compelling:

((Vick was almost unique there aren't many pro football teams you look at you can say that's a one man team but this one was pretty close)

Vick now awaits a decision from the league for reinstatement.
