Swine Flu Confirmed in Henry County
ATLANTA, GA
(WABE) -
s of right now the 14-year old boy from Henry County is reportedly at home and doing well.
But as a precaution the boy's school---Eagle's Landing Christian Academy is closed for 14 days.
The state Division of Public Health acting director-- Dr. Elizabeth Ford says it's not clear how the boy contracted the virus:
((they have no history of travel but do have some association with a group that traveled to Panama some weeks ago)
Three other cases are currently being tested...a 3 year-old boy from Cobb County, a 36 year old pregnant DeKalb woman and an 8 year old-girl from Clayton.
Again Dr. Ford:
((we were expecting to have an increase))
Dr. Ford says all of the patients are in voluntarily isolation in their homes. © Copyright 2009, WABE
