Delta offers more seats to the Masters
The Atlanta-based air carrier will offer more seats on its flights to the Masters.
Delta spokesperson Susan Elliot says the airline is targeting golf fans looking to travel to Augusta during the second week of April.
ELLIOT: "Demand definitely increases during that week and as a result we are adding 7000 seats for travel between Augusta and our Atlanta hub."
Delta won't disclose how much money it hopes to make off the extra seats because it's competing against other airlines for passengers.
Throughout the year, Delta offers more seats on flights to and from Augusta's airport than any other airline. Delta hopes its presence in the market will give the company a leg up on the competition. © Copyright 2012, WABE
