Atlanta Public Schools Superintendant Beverly Hall Talks About Decline in APS Test Scores

(WABE) - Many Georgia school systems' performance have slid because of new academic standards that were adopted to meet the requirements of the federal No Child Left Behind Act.

In 2007, 84 percent of Atlanta Public schools made the grade, but by 2008, the passing rate had slipped 11 percentage points. When WABE's Steve Goss spoke with APS Superintendant Beverly Hall, she commented on the Atlanta Public Schools most recent decline.
