Ladies Rock Camp A camp that caters to grown up rockers who happen to be women. Atlanta, GA Maybe you've heard the story. A lot of boys spend their teenage years playing in rock and roll bands, while a lot of girls spend their teenage years cheering in the audience.

Several years ago, the first Rock Camp for Girls, in Portland, Oregon, set out to change that. More girls' rock camps sprung up and started handing teenage girls around the country electric guitars and drumsticks, including one here in Atlanta.

Now, as a fundraiser for its Girls' Rock Camp, Atlanta's organizers have started a weekend camp for older would-be rockers.

Kate Sweeney brings us the sights and sounds of the city's very first Ladies' Rock Camp.
