Desert Hills High School is proud to host The Glenn Miller Orchestra in St. George, UT on Thursday, February 27th in their main auditorium. Reserved tickets only are on sale now online at www.dhthunderbands.com for $25 each or $15 each for students and seniors (55 and over). All proceeds go to "Thunder Notes", supporting the school music programs in Sunrise Ridge Intermediate, Desert Hills Middle and Desert Hills High School.
Glenn Miller, world renowned musician and conductor, who composed such hits as “In the Mood,” “The Chattanooga Choo-Choo,” “Pennsylvania 6-5000,” “Little Brown Jug” and many, many more – disappeared and died in an airplane accident while serving his country and fellow servicemen in World War II. BUT, his music and his legacy live on through his “swingin’ band”…The Glenn Miller Orchestra – who tour all over the world delighting crowds of all ages with that “swingin’ sound!”
