TIMEPIECE Dr. Leslie Brott, Assistant Professor, Department of Theatre Arts Title: “Truth Knows No Size” – Acting at the Utah Shakespeare Festival Leslie is the Head of Acting for the BFA acting training program in the Department of Theatre Arts. Before coming to Utah State she taught in the Professional Actor Training Programs at Southern Methodist University and the University of Illinois Champaign/Urbana. She has spent 14 seasons with the Utah Shakespeare Festival as an actor. Leslie works not only as an actor, but as a director and vocal/text/dialect coach. Other theatres include the Milwaukee Repertory Theatre, Dallas Theatre Center, GeVa Theatre, PCPA Theatrefest, Great River Shakespeare Festival, Sacramento Theatre Company, Idaho Shakespeare Festival, Southwest Shakespeare Festival, Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival, and the Salt Lake Acting Company. She trained at Penn State University and is a member of the Actor's Equity Association. Her hometown is Paradise, California.
