Robert “Bob” Parson is the university archivist at Utah State University and will present, "A Few Things I've Learned While Working in the Archives," providing a candid shot of University Archives, while recounting some things he has learned about the university’s history. Bob studied history at Utah State University, and earned a bachelor’s degree in 1981 and a master’s degree in 1983. Bob became university archivist in 1991 and knows all things “Aggies.”

Bob has authored two books, The History of Rich County and Providence and Her People, and is a regular
contributor to the Utah Historical Quarterly. His article “Leftward March” about student liberalism at Utah State University in the 1930s won the 2007 article of the year. When not driving his tractor in Benson, Bob can be found playing the blues with his band, the Blue Blazers.
