Dr. Robert Musil, former CEO of the 1985 Nobel Peace Prize-winning organization Physicians for Social Responsibility, will visit Centenary March 18-22 as a Woodrow Wilson Visiting Fellow. His wide range of specialties includes environmental sustainability, public health, social responsibility.

Featured Shreveport-Bossier community leaders and Musil will begin a conversation at 6:15 p.m. about public health and sustainability in the local and global community.

Musil served as the executive director and CEO of Physicians for Social Responsibility from 1992 to 2006. Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor and Senior Fellow for the Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies in the School of Public Affairs at American University. He also teaches in the Nuclear Studies Institute of the School of International Service. Musil is the author of Hope for a Heated Planet: How Americans are Fighting Global Warming and Building a Better future.
