A Community Conversation: Public Health & Sustainability CoHabitat, 610 Commerce Street Thursday, March 21, 5:30 p.m. wine and cheese reception Featured Shreveport-Bossier community leaders and Musil will begin a conversation at 6:15 p.m. about public health and sustainability in the local and global community. Musil served as the executive director and CEO of Physicians for Social Responsibility from 1992 to 2006. Currently, he is an Adjunct Professor and Senior Fellow for the Center for Congressional and Presidential Studies in the School of Public Affairs at American University. He also teaches in the Nuclear Studies Institute of the School of International Service. Musil is the author of Hope for a Heated Planet: How Americans are Fighting Global Warming and Building a Better future. |
