Remington College-Shreveport Campus invites both health care workers and the public to learn about CPR and first aid at a Heartsaver® CPR workshop on Saturday, March 9 from 1 pm – 6 pm. Heartsaver® CPR is a video-based course that will be led by Clark Riser, Department Chair for Health Services at Remington College-Shreveport Campus, who is a certified American Heart Association Instructor. Participants will learn how to administer CPR and use AED devices, as well as the critical skills needed to manage a first aid or choking emergency in the first few minutes before emergency crews arrive. The workshop will also cover first aid emergencies. Participants will receive an American Heart Association First Aid CPR AED Course Completion Card, which will be valid for two years.
