MOSCOWóCDís Smoke Pit is sponsoring a benefit dinner and silent auction for Jackson ďJaxĒ Lee, a two year old Pullman boy recently diagnosed and has undergone surgery for a grade I pilocytic astrocytoma brain tumor. The event will take place at Schiermanís Clubhouse & Event Center in Moscow on Sunday, Oct. 6th at 5:30 PM. Jax had his hypothalamus, parts of the pituitary and right optic nerve removed which caused strokes and has left him weak on his left side. He requires physical, occupational, and speech therapy. Jaxís mom, Natalie, and his sister, Gloria, are life-long residents of the Lewiston-Clarkston Valley and Palouse regions. This event will also help to offset living and medical expenses.
