Attention Musicians and Local Music Supporters! Two of our beloved Spokane Music icons are experiencing financial difficulties and are in danger of closing. YOU CAN MAKE THE DIFFERENCE! Who: Mark's Guitar 918 W Garland (509)325-8353 4000 Holes 1610 N Monroe (509)325-1914 When: Saturday, March 23, 2013 1-4 PM Bring $20 bucks (or more) and your friends - Stop into one or BOTH of these businesses any time before, during and after "Mob time" and experience a cash mob up close and all personal like. It's an experience you'll never forget. :) ___________________ OUR MOB TARGETS 4000 Hole's record store has been a staple on Monroe for as long most of us can remember. 4000 holes is struggling to stay open, facing a slumping economy and a local shift in large "box store" buying. This beloved record store is the perfect candidate for a cash mob. Mark's Guitar is another Music lover's staple in Spokane that has been hit hard by winter's slow economy. Mark's was not only nominated for a cash mob, but it's fans came out in DROVES to share stories of how this business has helped them grow and thrive as musicians. It's time to give back and show them what a boost of local buying love can do. Both small business's were nominated for a cash mob last fall, and the SCM team saw their fans come out to support the on-line vote. ___________________________ CASH MOB EVENT DETAILS SATURDAY MARCH 23rd 1pm to 4 pm Just spend $20 or more, and use your receipt to join the after-mob party. Roller girls, Guitarists, artists and local Master's of vinyl spin are conspiring behind the scenes to create a block wide cash mob event that is SURE to garner some attention for these struggling and much loved locations. The after-mob party location will have drink specials for anyone coming in with a receipt from Mark's & 4000-holes. (details TBA) __________________________ HOW YOU CAN HELP PLEASE SHARE and invite your friends. Last year's mob was the second largest grossing mob in the nation and was shared over 5000 times- You may have noticed our movement on Q6, NW news, and the Journal of business, to name a few. Our goal? Let's make the Music Mob the biggest cash mob in the country- who's down? We also need GUITARISTS, DERBY GIRLS, and masters of vinyl spin for HYPE on the street. Please JOIN us with your gear at noon sharp at Tafuri Studios (across from Mark's) for Staging. Also needed- MERCH donations (small $20 items that the businesses can sell), PRINT services and any relevant marketing services, and people who will pass out flyers, please let us know in advance (contact Mary at Tafuri Studios or message the CM page).
