Price:
free
Dates and Times:
January 22, 12:00PM-1:30PM
YWCA Northeast Indiana will begin the 2014 Diversity Dialogue season with an exploration into the life and experiences of the Burmese refugees living in our community. Faustina Adat and Eva Cung, YWCA staff members and Burmese refugees themselves, will introduce attendees to their language and culture, and provide insight into the daily trials they experience living in the United States, their adopted home. Those in attendance will leave with a better understanding of why the Burmese are here and members of the two cultures can better relate.

To join us, please RSVP on our YWCA Northeast Indiana Facebook page, or contact Administrative Coordinator Sue Hiatt at SHiatt@ywcaerew.org or (260) 424-4908 ext.254.
