The Composer-Guitarist: History and Perspective
Frank Wallace, speaker
Frank Wallace will discuss the history of the composer/guitarist over the past 500 years and how that affects modern repertoire. Wallace, a well-known guitarist and frequently commissioned composer for the guitar, has a busy career as a performer of many historical styles and now puts that experience into his own compositions. He will touch on the composers that will be featured in David Ross's program: Dyens, Domeniconi and Brouwer.
