Courts online pilot project
(NET Radio) - The U.S. District Court has launched a two-month pilot project to make its Nebraska court calendar accessible over the Internet free of charge. Operations manager Jennifer Stone says the change is the latest in the expansion of the electronic case management system that has been around since 2001. Anyone who wants access to court proceedings can now pull up the calendar so long as they are a user of the public access system known as PACER. Users will only incur charges if they try to access more specific information.

For the most accurate information, contact the clerk's office in Omaha at 866-220-4381. The Lincoln clerk's office can be reached at 866-220-4379.
