Politicial candidates take survey on children issues
(NET Radio) - Children's issues are the focus of a new candidate survey being released Tuesday by the non-profit group Voices for Children in Nebraska. Surveys were sent to all candidates for the state legislature, as well as U-S House and Senate. Policy Coordinator Sarah Ann Lewis says Voices for Children has conducted similar surveys in the past, but this is the first year the organization has released the responses to the public.

Candidates were asked about several issues affecting children, including education, health care and child poverty. Lewis says Voices for Children is a non-partisan organization and is NOT endorsing any particular candidates.
