Bruning disagrees with NEOC
(NET Radio) - Attorney General Jon Bruning has drawn the ire of the Nebraska Equal Opportunity Commission for refusing to file a housing discrimination lawsuit on behalf of a person in the country illegally. Attorney General Jon Bruning did call to respond just a short while ago. Bruning says he will not file a lawsuit against a citizen of Nebraska on behalf of a non-citizen. He says that's not how Nebraska taxpayers want their money spent. He says the NEOC is a flawed organization with a history of bringing cases to his office that are at the bounds of ridiculous.
