Feedlot reporting rules could change
(NET Radio) - Some Nebraska feedlot operators would see new requirements for reporting information to the state, under a proposal getting public hearings beginning Tuesday.

The Department of Environmental Quality will host two public hearings on the matter. The first begins with an open forum at 6 pm Tuesday at North Platte Community College, with a public hearing at 7. A second forum and hearing will begin at 6 pm January 31st at the Lancaster Extension Education Center in Lincoln. DEQ also is accepting written testimony through the end of the month.
