GRAND ISLAND, NE
(NET Radio) -
The U.S. Forest Service is holding hearings in the state on the future of motorized recreation in Nebraska's National Forests. Thursday night's session in Grand Island was a part of a nationwide Forest Service plan to regulate off-road vehicle's access to forests. Hunters and ATV users at the meeting don't want to lose the access they've enjoyed for years. While one horse owner worried about off-road vehicles damaging forests' natural beauty. District Ranger Patti Barney said public comments are welcome at any time during the planning process. For more information, click here. © Copyright 2021, NET Radio
