Spalding native remembered as hard-working soldier O'NEILL, NE (NET Radio) - An army soldier critically wounded in Afghanistan on August 16th has lost his last battle in an army hospital in San Antonio. Christopher Pfeifer of rural Nebraska suffered lung, kidney and liver damage from a sniper's bullet.
