(NET Radio) - The two groups are the Buffalo Soldiers and the Tukegee Airmen. The Buffalo Soldiers were sent to patrol the western frontier in the late 1860's. The Tuskegee Airmen were the first African-American military pilots. They flew escort missions in World War Two. © Copyright 2021, NET Radio
