Immigration debate divides Nebraskans
(NET Radio) - On one side of the debate are people like John Barrientos. Barrientos is a third generation American whose grandfather emigrated to Omaha in 1925. He owns an insurance agency in South Omaha. And he's frustrated that Congress seems incapable of acting on immigration.

On the other side are people like Dmitrij Krynsky, who came to this country from Czechoslovakia 26 years ago and worked as a welder before retiring. He belongs to the Lincoln Chapter of the Minuteman civil defense corps, a group opposed to giving legal status or amnesty to people here illegally.
