Teen drinking bill advances
(2007-05-23)
(NET Radio) - It's already a crime to provide alcohol to people under 21. The bill would say that in addition to facing criminal penalties, retailers or social hosts who do so could also be sued for damages. The bill would keep an existing exemption that allows minors to drink as part of a religious ceremony - taking communion wine, for example. It would also keep an exemption for minors drinking in their own home. © Copyright 2017, NET Radio
