Students react to social security report
(NET Radio) - It's a busy afternoon at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and students are milling around the campus union studying and heading to class. Nevin Rajkumar, a freshman biochemistry major, says he has NOT heard about the new federal report. It projects that if current trends continue, the Social Security Trust Fund will be out of money in the year 2041 - meaning today's younger workers could see fewer benefits than today's recipients. Rajkumar says for him, retirement still seems like a long way off. © Copyright 2017, NET Radio
